About Calou

“Plain, timeless and beautiful” – that’s how Calou Stockholm wants to be seen. The Swedish women’s footwear label makes clogs, but they’ve beamed this traditional, prototypical Swedish shoe into the modern era by endowing it with fashionable twists and making it exceptionally comfortable to wear. Produced in Italy & Portugal, each pair is handmade and unique. Comfort is guaranteed by the new cushioned polyurethane sole, which was developed exclusively for Calou. It is flexible, shock–absorbent and significantly lighter than traditional wooden soles. A padded insole on top of the bottom contours to the shape of the wearer’s foot and delivers a great feel. You can walk around all day in Calou shoes, they’re comfy, even when working long hours while standing. Calou are passionate about their shoes! They hope you’ll be as happy in them as they are.
